COVID-19 Impact Statement
With the current COVID-19 pandemic weaving its way through the European Union we would like to take a few minutes to talk to our valued customers and fans about the measures we’ve put in place.
COVID-19, or more commonly the coronavirus is currently having a debilitating effect on Irish businesses and businesses World-wide. With recent measures by our Taoiseach (lit. Chieftain, equivalent to Prime Minister in many English speaking countries) to try to stem the transmission of the virus, indoor public gatherings of more than 100 people are heavily frowned upon.
Luckily for us, we have the ability to work and create content remotely. We also have plans in place to ensure all orders will be packed and sent out in a timely and efficient manner. However, this is all dependant on the continued operation of the Irish postal service, An Post.
However. We offer local collection on items for people in Louth and the surrounding areas and this will cease to be available with immediate effect. This is both for the safety of our staff and our customers. In the interim, we ask that customers only select delivery options on all orders.
We are closely monitoring the situation and wish to be as clear and open with our customers as possible.
We wholeheartedly denounce the spread of misinformation on social media and pledge to never share or retweet any information surrounding COVID-19, nCOV-19 and related diseases and viruses. We advise everyone to accept only verified information from sources like your states reliable news sources and the WHO (World Health Organisation).
We thank you for taking the time to read this and we welcome any and all communication regarding this important issue and how it might affect your order with HackerSpace.ie
